My wife relayed this story to me of event that happened to her in the summer of either 1974 or 1975 in East Haven CT and is recalled from the best of her memory of the incident: She , her sister and a friend were outside at her friends house well after dark between 9 and 10 pm. In the sky they saw object a "glowing silver ball" moving in a northeasterly direction heading toward Northford/North Branford CT. Everything got strangely quiet (crickets that had been chirping previously had stopped), everything was oddly quiet and the trees and bushes below the object seemed to move as if something was "in them". The object was neither moving fast or slow but was just moving as she recalls. Her friend ran inside her house and got a flash light and it was working when she came out of the house but stopped working when she got to the middle of the yard as she approached the bushes in question. Once the object disappeared over the trees the flash light came back on and the crickets began to chirp again and all 3 of them began to hear "normal" nighttime sounds again. My wife said she heard on the 11pm TV news that night that some one else had reported seeing a UFO over North Branford around the same time the 3 of them saw the object

Hi all I have not checked in for over a year now so i would like to re-introduce myself. My name is Kevin, Im 55 years old and just became a Grandfather for the first time recently! I live on the CT shoreline I work for the power company as a substation crew supervisor and have been with the company for 34 years. For 10 years I was a part time Lake Patrol Officer with the CT DEP Law Enforcement .I have been a Ham radio operator for 36 years , enjoy metal detecting and Civil war and ww2 history as well as hunting and fishing. Astronomy was a big interest of mine when I was much younger. I have had a passing interest in UFO for a long time and since retirement is right around the corner I would be interested in becoming a MUFON field investigator to add to my list of things to do when I retire!
